This version (6.1) corrects a few bugs of version (5.1), mainly the erratic
drawing, in some cases, of the antipodes. This has now been corrected thanks
to the advice of Etienne (F6AUC).
The program draws an azimuthal projection of the world centered on either
the geographical coordinates, the "Maidenhead locator" or the IARU
prefix (Home QTH). Next the program will ask you to enter the corresponding
data for the target QTH.
The program will then draw a line between both QTH and will display the
following data according to the nature of your entries:
ANY ENTRIES: distance and bearing between both QTH, sunset - sunrise,
time of grayline if any.
GEO. COORD : locator + info given in "ANY ENTRIES"
PREFIX : locator, geographical coordinates, CQ zone, ITU zone, country
+ info given in "ANY ENTRIES"
The program in BBS is encoded with 7+ and will provide a self-extracting file
under the name: grafic61.exe.
After running #graficd.exe you will obtain: LOGOAZIM.OVR, GRAFICDX.OVR, DX.COM
and COUNTRY.COD. All files must be in the same directory. Type "DX" to run.
Slow on a 286. Runs only on a VGA screen. Suggestions are welcome.
